These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WatercoolerChats (the "Service"), a Slack application operated by WatercoolerChats. By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
WatercoolerChats is a Slack bot that automatically pairs workspace members for short introductory conversations ("coffee chats") on a configurable schedule. The Service sends messages on behalf of workspace admins via the Slack API.
You must be an authorized Slack workspace administrator to install the Service. By installing, you represent that you have authority to bind your organization to these Terms.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice where practicable. During the beta period, the Service is provided as-is without uptime commitments.
The Service is currently provided free of charge during a public beta. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future. We will provide at least 60 days' notice and a reasonable transition period before any charges apply to existing users.
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Service, including its code, design, and content, is owned by WatercoolerChats and protected by applicable intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WATERCOOLERCHATS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Service from your Slack workspace. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms, with or without notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WatercoolerChats is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify workspace admins via Slack of material changes at least 14 days in advance.
